Here at Redemption Ranch, we aren’t about one thing- we are about many. That’s our whole purpose, having all the animals and plants to work together like God made them to. Here everything and everyone lives in harmony, working hard to obtain our goal of regenerating our land.
We are a family of seven that escaped from the rat race of the city in 2019 to live our dream on a farm. It has been a lot of work to build up our farm, and we are still working hard at it. We feel that we have been called to use permaculture and regenerative practices so that we are giving back to the land God gave us, not just taking. We have everything here including cattle, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, goats, dogs, cats, berries, fruit trees, grapes, and gardens. Even so we are still expanding.
The change we’ve seen in the past 2 years has been astonishing. The grass is so lush and full when before it was eaten down to the bone. It was a rare sight if you saw a bird back then, but now, they come swooping around in the hundreds. Our soil is a dark brown instead of just clay. We are truly changing things, and will continue to make it even better in the years to come.
Another really important thing for us is thanking each animal that we process to sustain not only us, but also you. Each of our animals live their best life up to their last day. And on that day, we thank each one of them for their sacrifice for all of us. We do everything very humanely, and as good for the animal as it can get.
While some days aren’t all sunshine and rainbows, everyday we all have joy in our hearts because we are doing what we love to do. We hope to help bring some sunshine and healthy meals into your life one step at a time.
